IFL works with two primary client types – direct clients and Multilingual vendors.

Direct clients are quite simply companies with a need to deliver products and/or services in multiple language versions.  In many cases they have internal organizations to manage this process, which often involves finding local or regional language service suppliers for long term partnerships. IFL's strong project management, coupled with large scale and flexibility, offers dependable quality and reduces the need for management and post-processing overheads to bring true cost efficiency for this client segment.  IFL’s emergence as the first independent language services provider in South America with a true enterprise style solution is giving direct clients the confidence needed to consider a more cost effective alternative to multilingual vendors.   Our clients are realizing the benefits of IFL handling service needs for both of the key Latin American languages, with the majority using IFL as a primary supplier for both Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.  This provides ample validation for the development strategy which saw us open our Brazilian language center in Porto Alegre in December 2006 to complement our main production office in Buenos Aires.  This client segment also tends to require strong technical service solutions, such as DTP and localization engineering/testing, and thus value the complete range of services provided by IFL.

IFL offers multilingual vendors a specialized solution for Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese with reliability in turnaround times and a strong quality focus.  Rather than try to obtain the lowest unit rates by having a limited infrastructure or taking processing shortcuts, our aim is to optimize overall cost efficiency by reducing overheads for management and administration, as well as any need for pre- and post processing.  We want to make the project goals of our multilingual vendor partners achievable and predictable by working with a supplier that understands and shares them.

IFL’s complete range of services means that we can enable clients streamline processing and improved efficiency for multi-faceted assignments, for example when incorporating desktop publishing or other technical components.  Also, our scale and flexibility typically removes the need to work with multiple suppliers, which results in higher quality and greater efficiency.
